The island boasts some 40 beaches, both large and small, and most are empty on any given day. Wild horses roam freely around Vieques including a herd that lives at Sun Bay, the islands main beach park. The Wyndham Martineau Bay Resort & Spa is a small intimate resort and currently, the only resort on the island.
